Veg food with nonveg taste at Mr Singh’s Tandoori Hut


Zirakpur: At the grand opening ceremony of Mr. Singh's Tandoori Hut (Faridabad Wale) Restaurant, at SCO 2, LGF Kesri Plaza, VIP Road, Zirakpur, the outlet was inaugurated by Yadwinder Singh, MC Lohgarh, who is the brother of N K Sharma, Ex MLA, Halka Derabassi. As the chief guest, he cut the ribbon to announce open the unique outlet, which has a branch in Chandigarh.

Mr. Singh's Tandoori Hut Restaurant offers vegetarian dishes similar to nonveg in looks, feel and taste. Hello Soya is one such popular dish. Other delicacies include veg Malai Chaap, veg Pomfret Fish, veg Surmai Fish, and veg KFC Nugget – a 100% vegetarian preparation. The restaurant is famous as ‘Mr Singh’s Tandoori Hut Faridabad Wale’. 

Mahesh Kumar Chopra, Franchise Owner, said, "We are happy to bring the unique taste of pure Soya items to Zirakpur. The restaurant follows the Taiwanese concept. We will also provide a free tasting facility to anyone for a month.”

Gurpreet and Kuldeep, Directors of Mr. Singh's Tandoori Hut, said, “Our concept is unique as we offer vegetarian dishes which have similar taste as nonveg. We manage over 25 outlets across India, and believe in quality and quantity.” 

The restaurant has a delivery-cum-take away facility, where vegetarian food, and tandoori items, are served along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Another outlet in Chandigarh is located in Sector 32. 

The restaurant also offers different types of Soya items lookalike nonveg items, which are pure vegetarian. The restaurant also provides Tandoori Starters, family packs, bread, and dessert among many other choices. The dishes are also available through Zomato and Swiggy, informed Chopra. BW

Kulbir Sawhney and Guraseses Sawhney contractors have multiple FIRs against them for fraud and cheating

Sawhneys - the contractors Mohali : Himanshu Kapoor, a resident of Kharrar, has alleged that Arvindera Electricals, an electrical contracting firm based in Chandigarh, has multiple FIRs filed against them. The firm, owned by father Kulbir and son Gurasees Sawhney, has a track record of cheating and fraud and not paying its vendors, alleged Kapoor. Kapoor said that in August 2020, the Haryana Government filed an FIR against the firm, and recently one more FIR has come to light lodged at SAS Nagar (Mohali) Phase 1, where the duo committed fraud worth Rs 5.25 cr, and their bail was rejected by the District Court. It may be noted that the contractor firm, Arvindera Electricals is owned by the father-son duo - Kulbir and Gurasses Sawhney, residents of Sector 44, Chandigarh.
